Patrick Kelly is an accomplished fine art & commercial photographer based in the midwest. He needed a website to showcase & sell his new collection. He also needed a platform to grow his business organically through great SEO and give clients the opportunity to purchase his work outside of a gallery.

Before working with NNDesign, Patrick had no web presence. After consulting with our team and working with us on other projects, Patrick decided an e-commerce site built on WordPress was the best path forward. We proposed a site based on Woocommerce + Elementor on Cloudways to take advantage of a quick turnaround time, minimal set up, and the ease & speed provided by Cloudways.

We designed a website that pulled inspiration from other fine art websites that Patrick liked. We were guided by a primary principle of letting the images speak for themselves, and only providing the bare minimum UI to provide the functionality required. We accomplished that by building out tons of whitespace, choosing a minimalist color pallete, limiting animations, and choosing a limited but beautiful font stack.

The new site has accomplished much in it's first month of operation. The site ranks in the top 10 for non-branded local search queries, has accomplished >30% CTR, and boasts an average engagement time of almost 1 minute. Patrick has been very happy with the success of the launch and is looking forward to adding more products and driving future sales.
